President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has sponsored the weddings of three hundred couples in Yobe North Senatorial District. The beneficiary district comprised six Local Government Areas of Bade, Jakusko, Machina, Yusufari, Nguru and Karasuwa. A former lawmaker, Senator Buruji Kashamu, has died of COVID-19 complications, The PUNCH has learnt. Kashamu, who represented Ogun-East senatorial district between 2015 and 2019, died at First Cardiology Consultants, Lagos.
