Ahead of the forthcoming primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Party Executives, Local Government Chairmen and other stakeholders in Zone C of Niger State have endorsed the State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello as the consensus Senatorial Candidate of the Party in the 2023 General Elections.
The APC Officials and the stakeholders also threw their support to Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba ,the current member representing Kontagora, Wushishi, Mariga, and Mashegu Local Governments Federal Constituency at the federal House of Representatives.
The event which took place at the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Senatorial Campaign Office in Kontagora witnessed the presentation of campaign vehicles and posters by the representative of the State Governor, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and supported by Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba to the Party Officials and other stakeholders in the Zone.
Speaking at the occasion, the Secretary to the State Government, Ahmed Matane tasked members of the Party in the Zone to rally round support for Governor Sani Bello for the Niger North Senatorial District and Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba for the House of Representatives for the rapid development of the Zone.
The SSG further solicited the support of all party members in the Zone and the State at large to strengthen their support and love for the party by ensuring that APC emerged victorious in the forthcoming polls at all levels.
Earlier in his remarks, the Zonal Chairman of APC, Alhaji Aminu Bobi told the representative of the Governor and Hon. Idris Garba that their loyalty and support are intact and unwavering, adding that they would stand where Governor Sani Bello stands as their Leader and mentor in the State.
Highlights of the occasion were goodwill messages from party supporters and cultural performances.
