In a landmark judgment, the Appeal Court today upheld Senator Isah Jibrin’s election, validating his victory after an earlier tribunal verdict annulled his win, ordering a rerun in some polling units. BREAKING: Senate approves Tinubu’s N2.17tr supplementary budget request

Nigeria’s Senate on Thursday, November 2, approved the request for a N2.17 trillion 2023 Supplementary Appropriation Bill forwarded by President Bola Tinubu after a third reading.   Prior to the bill’s adoption, the Senate accepted the report from the synchronised sessions of the red and green chambers about the 2023 Supplementary Appropriations Bill, which was provided by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (APC Ogun West), the chairman of the Appropriations Committee.           More details later…..  

Natasha sworn in as Kogi central Senator
