Rival Group eliminates Zamfara bandit kingpin Kachalla Daji

Zamfara bandit kingpin Kachalla Ibrahim Gurgun Daji, has been reportedly killed in Kwanar Nasiru, Gusau local government area of Zamfara State.   Daji was eliminated by a rival group of bandits on Sunday, October 13, 2024, and his body was left at the scene.   Lake Chad security expert, Mr Zagazola Makama, who confirmed the incident on Monday said that Daji was known for his criminal activities, including masterminding violent attacks along the Kwatarkwashi-Mada road and other surrounding areas.   His base of operations was the Shangel village, situated east…

MURIC hails Appeal Court Oyo Judges for upholding sanctity of Islamic marriage

A Human Rights group,Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has commended the Oyo State Customary Court of Appeal for upholding the sanctity of marriages conducted under Islamic law.
