The Director General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has sent condolence message to the people of Ankpa over the sad incidence of multiple armed robbery attacks on two Banks, the divisional police headquarters leading to some deaths.
Dr Kashim Akor who expressed sadness on the unfortunate development, said the coordinated attacks from the men of the underworld required more security reinforcement in the town and its environs.
The Director General maintained that the robbery incidence in Ankpa town was the worst in recent times, while urging both local and state government to introduce special security squad in the town to protect lives and properties of innocent citizens.
He extended his condolences to the deceased family, stating that henceforth security should be the business of everyone to avoid recurrence.
He prayed for the repose of their souls, urged the people to bear the irreparable loss.
Dare devil armed robbers attacked First Bank and Zenith Bank Ankpa simultaneously on Tuesday afternoon, including the Divisional police headquarters where some rifles were allegedly carted away.
