A policeman attached to the Ondo State Police Command has allegedly shot his wife dead and committed suicide. The incident was said to have happened at Akungba-Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state. A one-week trip of 25 local government chairmen in Niger to Ghana for a training has generated outcry. Many residents frowned at the trip at a time many of them couldn’t pay salaries. President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the reversal of the suspension of the immediate past Managing Director of Rural Electrification Agency, Damilola Ogunbiyi. Mr Buhari ordered the reversal of the suspension on Tuesday, in clear overrule of an earlier directive given by the Minister of Power, Sale Mamman.
