The Emir of Minna, Dr. Umar Faruq Bahago has enjoined the new Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Niger state, Mrs Mary Noel Berje to work tirelessly towards the betterment of the present administration and by extension the state in general.
He stated this when the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor paid him a courtesy call at the palace.
The Emir said the Governor must have found her worthy for the position which was the main reason she was appointed as the first female press secretary in the state.
The Emir called on CPS to remained committed, hardworking and disciplined to affirm the popular saying that what a man can do woman can do it better.
Dr Umar Faruq Bahago described the administration of Governor Abubakar Sani as an economic driven one as such people with unquestionable character are needed to support it to deliver on its mandate.
He then prayed Allah to grant the Chief Press Secretary and Governor Abubakar Sani Bello the foresight to complete their mission to the state.
Earlier, Mrs Mary Noel Barje said she was at the Emir palace to seek his fatherly blessings to enable her succeed.
She promised to operate an open door policy in line with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s policy which is geared towards the economic advancement of the state.
