In a renewed effort to deepen inter-agency collaboration and strengthen security operations across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, has paid a familiarization visit to the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), FCT Command.
The high-level engagement focused on enhancing intelligence sharing, improving coordinated joint operations, and reinforcing rapid response mechanisms to ensure the continued safety of residents and critical infrastructure within the Territory.
Speaking during the visit, CP Dantawaye commended the DSS for its professionalism and steadfast dedication to national security. He stressed that mutual trust, real-time intelligence exchange, and teamwork among security agencies are vital to sustaining the peace and order currently being enjoyed in the FCT.
“The DSS remains one of our most strategic partners in the collective effort to keep Abuja safe. Our success depends on continuous collaboration, information sharing, and joint operational planning,” the CP stated.
In his response, the State Director of the DSS appreciated the Commissioner’s visit, described it as timely and productive. He assured of the Service’s full cooperation with the Police Command to ensure seamless coordination in tackling emerging security threats and maintaining the FCT’s reputation as one of the safest capitals in Africa.
The visit marked another milestone in the renewed commitment of security agencies to deliver effective and efficient security services to residents through unity of purpose and operational synergy.
