FCT Police Commissioner strengthens security collaboration with Military, Paramilitary Agencies ….Visits Guards Brigade, Naval Base, NAF Camp, NSCDC Command

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration and intelligence sharing among security formations operating within the nation’s capital.
As part of his ongoing familiarisation tour, CP Dantawaye on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, paid courtesy visits to the Commander, Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Adebisi Onasanya; the Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O.E. Oladipo; the Commander, 053 NAF Camp, Group Captain H.S. Ibrahim; and the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), FCT Command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu.
According to a statement by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the visits were designed to deepen cooperation, improve joint operational strategies, and enhance the overall security architecture of the Federal Capital Territory.
CP Dantawaye emphasized that effective policing and internal security depend on unity of purpose among all security agencies, noting that collaboration remains the most efficient approach to addressing evolving threats within the FCT.
He commended the existing spirit of cooperation among the various formations and called for sustained synergy in intelligence gathering, crime prevention, and rapid response operations.
In their separate remarks, the commanders reaffirmed their readiness to continue supporting the Nigeria Police Force and to strengthen joint efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability across the nation’s capital.
The visits ended with renewed pledges of collaboration and mutual respect among the participating security institutions.
