The organisers of Cycling Kano 2025, one of Northern Nigeria’s biggest cycling events, have announced the commencement of online registration for athletes and cycling enthusiasts ahead of the competition scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Kano State.
The event, jointly organised by the Kano State Government and BrandEscort Communications, aims to promote healthy living, tourism, and youth engagement through sports. It is expected to attract professional cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, and recreational riders from within Nigeria and across Africa.
According to the organisers, interested participants can now register online by completing the official registration form via the Cycling Kano 2025 Registration Link
Speaking on the development, Bamidele Adeleye, Managing Director of BrandEscort Communications, described the opening of registration as a major milestone in preparations for what promises to be the most exciting cycling event in Northern Nigeria.
“Cycling Kano is more than a race — it’s a movement to inspire healthy living, promote tourism, and foster unity through sports,” Adeleye said.
He revealed that this year’s edition, themed “Health and Wellness,” will feature several race categories, including professional, amateur, children’s, and community fun rides, with prizes and recognitions for outstanding performances.
Also speaking, Sani Musa Danja, Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Youth and Sports Development, assured participants of adequate security and logistics arrangements, noting that relevant state agencies are fully mobilised to ensure a safe and successful event.
Cycling Kano 2025 forms part of the broader Cycling Nigeria Initiative, a national project promoting cycling culture and its health, social, and environmental benefits across the country.
