The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has commenced a nationwide integrity and professionalism drive under the leadership of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, aimed at strengthening operational discipline and ethical service delivery across all formations.
The initiative, aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s Renewed Hope Agenda, seeks to sanitize the Corps’ operational culture, enhance accountability, and restore public confidence in the institution.
During the engagements on 3 March 2026, Olusegun Ogungbemide, Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer, stated that members of the Corps Management delivered a clear and uncompromising message to officers and men: mediocrity will no longer be tolerated. Personnel were urged to recommit to the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and operational excellence, with a strict zero-tolerance stance on corruption.
Olusegun further emphasized that the FRSC’s mandate goes beyond enforcement to safeguarding lives, promoting responsible road use, and serving the Nigerian public with transparency and honor.
Under Mohammed’s leadership, the Corps is undergoing a strategic reform agenda focused on professionalism, ethical conduct, and operational efficiency. The nationwide engagements mark a decisive step toward reinforcing a culture where integrity is non-negotiable and excellence is expected.
