Gov Sani Bello condoles Sheikh Ahmed Lemu over eldest son’s death

Niger state Governor and Chairman North Central Governors Forum, Alhaji Abubakar Sani has sympathised with a Minna based Islamic Scholar Sheikh Ahmed Lemu over the death of his eldest Son.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Niger State Governor Mary Noel-Berje stated that Abubakar Shehu Lemu fondly called Nma Katun( Kigo) by his close associates died at the IBB Specialist Hospital Minna after a brief illness .
The Governor noted that late Abubakar Shehu Lemu made immense contributions to the growth and development of the State and Nigeria as a whole and described his death as a great loss to the state and the country at large .
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello prayed Allah to forgive his transgressions and accept him into Jannati Nai’m as well as grant the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
Abubakar Shehu Lemu Nma Katun ( Kigo ) was born on the 11th of February 1959, attended Government College Bida and graduated from Bayaro University Kano in 1983 .
He started civil service career with the Federal Ministry of External Affairs in 1984 and served in various countries including Kenya, Argentina, India and retired as a Director in 2017.
He is survived by his aged father, a wife and six children as well as siblings
