The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has finalized arrangements for 2,800 VIP bed spaces in Tent A for Nigerian pilgrims participating in the 2025 Hajj.
Chairman of the Commission, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, disclosed this during a Zoom meeting held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with Rawaf Mina Service Providers and registered Tour Operators. He advised all Tour Operators interested in the exclusive Tent A facility to upgrade their payments to secure access for their pilgrims.
Rawaf Mina, the service provider, revealed that it secured the VIP bed spaces in a newly constructed five-storey building situated a few meters from the Jamrat. The facility comprised 23 rooms on the first floor and 30 rooms each on the second, third, and fourth floors—designed to provide enhanced comfort and proximity to the Hajj rites for pilgrims.
Tour Operators were briefed on the upgrade process and the importance of concluding Hajj registration early to facilitate the production of NUSUK access cards for eligible pilgrims.
In addition, Tour Operators whose pilgrims were initially registered under Tent D for administrative reasons but have now opted for Tent A are required to pay the outstanding balance. This will confirm their allocation and enable the rerouting of their transportation arrangements to the designated VIP camp in Mina.
