The Secretary to the Government of Niger State, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Salisu Ibrahim in Kaduna.
Late Salisu Ibrahim who died last week Saturday, was until his death a Staff of Dangote Group and his Wife is a close associate of the former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and also Personal Assistant (PA) to the Wife of the Niger State Governor, Dr. Amina Abubakar.
The SSG who led a high powered delegation to Kaduna revealed that the government and people of Niger State felt deeply pained by the death of Salisu Ibrahim, but comforted that he left an indelible mark in the sands of time.
“We are however comforted that the great values of hard work, honesty and selflessness that the deceased left behind will serve as a guiding light to the next generation, Ahmed Matane added.
We take solace in the fact that “from Allah we all come and to Him we shall all return”. Nobody shall live longer than the time appointed by Almighty Allah! The deceased life on earth was very eventful, his achievements in all spheres of life left indelible marks on the lives of his immediate family”. SSG stated.
Ahmed Matane prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the departed, shine his grave with His unconditional mercies and make Al-jannah Firdausi his final resting place as well as give his wife, children, family, friends, well-wishers the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The delegation led by the SSG comprised of the State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Engineer Jibril Imam, Permanent Secretaries, Directors General, top Government functionaries and party Chieftains.
