The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has expressed shock over the death of Alhaji Abubakar Tauhid Tayi, Chairman, Niger State Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
Alhaji Abubakar Tauhid Tayi died in Minna after a brief illness.
In his condolence message, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane described late Abubakar Tauhid Tayi as a man of exemplary character, humble, respectful, and dedicated to the development of Niger State and humanity in general.
According to the SSG, “the death of the Chairman came at a time when his input is greatly required to actualize the restoration agenda of the present administration,his death is a big blow. Only God can help us bear the pain and the loss of his sudden departure. When we consider his exceptionally agreeable personality, warmth, and rare intelligence and how much he has done for Niger State, we shall always owe him lifetime gratitude”.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I want to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of late Alhaji Abubakar Tauhid Tayi, we accept the fact that death is a necessary end for all mortals. You lived an exemplary and most inspiring life; you motivated and touched so many lives in so many places, now you’re suddenly gone! Only God can alleviate our pain and sense of loss of your sudden demise”, the SSG stated.
He prayed that the Almighty Allah (SWT) would forgive the shortcomings of the departed, remember his good works, grant his soul eternal rest as well as give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Similarly, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has commiserated with the people of Bida Emirate over the passing away of Alhaji Isah Lakpene, Coordinator, Forestry Protection and Chairman, Niger State Special Task Force on Deforestation.
Alhaji Isah Lakpene died in Bida after a brief illness.
Ahmed Matane stressed that the contributions and commitment of late Isah Lakpene to the development of Niger State were unparalleled and unquantifiable.
“We however take solace in the fact that “from Allah, we all come and to Him, we shall all return”. Nobody shall live longer than the time appointed by Almighty Allah! Your life on earth was very eventful, your achievements in all spheres of life left indelible marks on the lives of the people of Niger State”.
He prayed Allah (SWT) to grant the soul of the deceased Aljannah Firdaus and give the immediate family of the late Alhaji Isah Lakpene fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
