The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced a strategic collaboration with the Renewed Hope National Home Grown School Feeding (RH-NHGSF) Programme to enhance the implementation of the Federal Government’s school feeding initiative.
Under this partnership, every school child across the country will be enrolled and assigned a National Identification Number (NIN), a move aimed at ensuring inclusive access, improving transparency, and fostering accountability in the program.
The initiative, driven by Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, the Director General/CEO of NIMC, and Princess Aderemi Adebowale, National Programme Manager of the RH-NHGSF Programme, marks a significant step toward achieving the objectives of the Renewed Hope Mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
By incorporating the NIN registration process into the school feeding program, the partnership aligns with the Federal Government’s goal of advancing educational and nutritional outcomes for children while enhancing digital public infrastructure in Nigeria.
NIMC’s commitment to driving sustainable development and equitable access to essential services underscored its role in transforming Nigeria’s identity management system and supporting national progress.
