The National Youth Service Corps NYSC has distance its self from the advertisement making round various platform on social media, which called on Nigerians to subscribe and boost their business dream through the NYSC Trust Fund 2023.
The scheme in a statement signed by Eddy Megwa, Director,Press and Public Relations on behalf of the its management
decribed the advertisement as fake, urged members of the public to disregard it.
NYSC Said “Management wishes to state emphatically that the advertisement is not from the National Youth Service Corps. It is the handiwork of fraudsters bent on defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians, particularly serving and ex-Corps Members of their resources.
“The NYSC Trust Fund is still awaiting Mr President’s assent. Therefore the existence of an NYSC Portal and link to register for the fund is only a ruse. When the Trust Fund is passed into Law, modalities to access the fund shall be officially made known to Nigerians through the print and electronic media as well as NYSC official handles in the social media, among others.
“Please, do not fall prey to fraudsters”.
