The Purple Crown Gymnastics Club marked a major milestone with the successful hosting of its 5th Edition of the Annual Fun Day & Beauty Pageant. The event was held at the picturesque Imagine Early Years and Elementary School in Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria, and attracted children from various schools and nationalities.
The event featured gymnastics showcases, talent displays, and a beauty pageant parade, highlighting the athletic abilities, confidence, and creativity of the children. Miss Meridith I. Ketsy was crowned Queen of the Year, and numerous medals were awarded to deserving gymnasts across Grade Levels 1 to 4.
Parents praised the club’s dedication and high training standards, emphasized that the event gave children the courage to express themselves before a live audience.
One parent, Mr. Kolawole Sofola, commended the team’s dedication and high training standards, while another parent, Mrs. Queen Ehi-Uujamha, highlighted how her daughter’s flexibility, concentration, and overall well-being have significantly improved.
Mrs. Stella Chibuike-Ezike, a proud mother of two gymnasts and co-sponsor of the event, emphasized the deeper impact of gymnastics beyond flips and stunts, highlighting its role in building confidence, resilience, teamwork, and life skills.
Mrs. Adiat Olajumoke Ariyo, Chief Executive Officer of Nanny’s Palace Limited, pledged her company’s sponsorship support for the next edition of the Purple Crown Gymnastics Club’s annual event, demonstrating a commitment to nurturing young talent.
The event ended with laughter, cheers, and proud moments for both children and parents, celebrating talent, strength, and grace.
