Governors of Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti States will be special guests at a day international conference on the biography of Prophet Muhammad jointly organised by Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, MUSWEN and Turkish Educational and Cultural Promotion Company, NUSRET .
This is contained in a statement in Ibadan by Chairman, Local Organizing Committee, Professor Wole Abbas.
Immediate past Executive Secretary, MUSWEN, Professor Dawud Noibi will be the Chairman of the conference with the theme “Impact of the Exemplary Leadership Style of Prophet Muhammad on Inter-Ethnic and Inter-Religious Harmony”.
The conference holds on Wednesday 11th December, 2019 at Conference Hall, University of Ibadan Mosque Complex.
Others expected at the programme include foreign nationals, top Muslim academics, heads of tertiary institutions in the Southwest and Kwara State, leading Imams and scholars as well as royal fathers.
Executive Secretary of MUSWEN, Professor Muslih Yahya will be keynote speaker while papers will be presented by Professor Muhib Opeloye from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, , Professor Murtala Bidmos from University of Lagos, Dr Muritala Busoeri from Lagos State University and Dr Saber AbdelFattah AbdelAziz Meshrfy from Cairo University, Egypt
Other paper presenters are a popular Muslim activist, Professor Ishaq Lakin-Akintola of Lagos State University, Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, Professor Afis Oladosu, Dr Khadijat Olaniyan-Shobowale from Lagos State University, and Dr Kamil Kemanu from Nile University of Nigeria.
