The Senate has commenced moves to put an end to discrimination against women in the Nigeria Police Force with Thursday’s consideration of the Police Act Amendment Bill, 2019. The piece of legislation before the National Assembly essentially seeking to expunge the provisions of Regulations 122, 123, 124 and 127 from the principal Act.
