An Islamic scholar has urged Nigerians to put on their thinking cap, ” think by yourself, for yourself and about yourself, so that other people’s thoughts, opinions and manipulation of sentences and statement won’t drain you to be who you are not suppose to be”.
This call was made while discussing the topic:- HIJRAH HIGHLIGHTS: Where are the thinking Muslims? during an Islamic weekly program tagged “TALK ISLAM” on Jordan 93.9 FM Abuja.
Ustaz (Dr) Abdulfattah Adeyemi, the CEO Baynakum Family Counseling Centre, Abuja who doubled as a Transformational marriage Coach and Muslim motivational speaker said every human being has the potency and the gift to be able to think. “It is a humanistic situation and it is for all human being to think.”
He emphasized that “As human being, it beholds of you to understand your thought processes and to know what your thinking is suppose to result into. What do you bring out of your thinking?” He asked.
Ustaz Adeyemi added that” thinking was one of those things that made people to be human being.” Animals also have their ways of reflecting instincts. Human beings have superior thought process than those of animals”.he stated.
He therefore solicited that every human being needed to get close to God who is the author of wisdom itself.
“God has given us the brains, the thoughts, the power of imagination, He has given us power of fantasy and power of creativity as human beings”.he maintained.
