President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to begin a two-day official visit to Katsina State on Friday, during which he will engage in high-level security discussions and inaugurate key developmental projects.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the visit will include a meeting with stakeholders and security chiefs to assess the prevailing security situation in the state, which has faced challenges related to banditry and insurgency.
During the visit, President Tinubu will commission the newly established Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre and a 24-kilometre dual carriageway project completed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s administration.
In a brief social engagement, the President will also attend the wedding ceremony of Governor Radda’s daughter before returning to Abuja.
The visit underscored President Tinubu’s continued commitment to security and infrastructure development in the North-West region.
