Renewed Hope APC Rivers has reacted to an open letter addressed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,written by a group called Concerned Youths Of Rivers State led by former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amechi, allegedly stated that the Rivers State chapter of the ruling APC have not benefited from the ruling party.
Renewed Hope APC Rivers in a statement said all allegation stated in the letter by members of Concerned Youths Of Rivers State were not incorrect but also fallacious.
The group also reminded the protesters that they voted against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and they should not expect reward or appointment from the President

Our attention was drawn to a drama accompanied by a paid advertorial titled above and signed by persons purporting to be Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, under the banner of CONCERNED YOUTHS OF RIVERS STATE APC.
Whilst we do not intend to patronize their puerile offerings, we would only put the issues in right perspectives.
In doing so, we will focus solely on the issues, ignoring the underlying shenanigans contained therein:
1. On the allegation that members of the APC in Rivers State have not been appointed into the Government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that instead, it is members of the PDP loyal to former Governor Nyesom Wike who have been so appointed:
Our response is that the allegation is not only incorrect but also fallacious.
Only recently, the President constituted the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) wherein Chief Tony Okocha, a Chieftain of the Party & former Local Organising Committee Chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Rally in Rivers State was nominated to represent Rivers State
While we appreciate Mr. President for that nomination, we respectfully appeal to Mr President to do more for the Party in the State
2. Secondly, we would like to state that whatever appointment persons loyal to the Honourable Minister of the FCT, Chief Nyesom Wike are getting and will get from the Tinubu administration, they are duly entitled to it.
It is public knowledge that the APC had never won Presidential Elections in Rivers State until 2023 when the Wike political system worked with some APC Members in the State to deliver the Party’s first Presidential Elections victory in the State
3. That we tender unreserved apologies to Mr. President for the insults hurled at him by that misguided advertorial.
A closer look at those involved would reveal that it is the same characters who cajoled, denigrated, derogated, cursed, abused and insulted Mr President during the electioneering period, on new media handles. Mr. President was adorned on adult pampers and interpreted as one who defecates on self:
He was ashamedly put on medical stretcher as one who was on departure lounge, on social media by the actors of the ignoble drama in the genre of Tragedy.
Their hostility and flagrant disdain for the President was heightened during the Presidential Election proper, when they were openly instructed by their leaders in expression of biles and venoms against Tinubu/APC, to vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP
4. That we appreciate Mr. President for the appointments so far given to Rivers State including that of the appointment of His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, arguably the first Southerner to hold that position; Boma Iyaye as the EDFA of NDDC; Tony Okocha as Rivers State Rep on the NDDC Board.
5. That we once again appeal to Mr. President to consider more genuine (not meddlesome Interlopers/imposters), APC Members from RIvers State, for more appointments. By this expression, we mean those who rejected the directive of then State APC Leadership to work against Mr. President’s Presidential aspirations.
We will also in the logic of reciprocity, not frown at anyone from RIvers State who was part of the collabo that engendered the APC/Tinubu victory in RIvers State. “A labourer deserves his/her wage”.
Those hirelings, couldn’t explain why in their ill~conceived hogwash called advertorial, the APC Rivers lost all the 32 House of Assembly seats.
Why the APC lost the 3 Senatorial seats in RIvers State.
Why the APC Rivers won only one out of 13 House of Representatives seats;
Why APC Rivers lost spectacularly, the Governorship seat of Rivers State;
Why APC won the Presidential Election in RIvers State against all odds.
We actually don’t begrudge the protesters because they know nothing about how the age~long jinx of PDP dominance and trouncing of the APC in Presidential Election in RIvers State since 2015, was broken in favour of the APC.
6. We admonish those intending to portray Rivers APC as ungrateful lots, to like Judas Iscariot, shamefully return the luckre paid to them to betray, to their belligerent paymasters.
7. We know the spnsors of this blackmail. We shall unmask them.
We shall be demanding they make public, the result sheets from the units they voted in the Presidential Election as proof to entitlements.
8. Finally, that we call on genuine Members of the APC in Rivers State to sustain their support for the still young administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he takes the necessary decisions that will pull our Country away from the brinks of collapse.
