UNHCR, UN Refugee Agency, Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society partner to help IDPs in Nigeria

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and the Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society, and a faith-based organisation in Nigeria, are in partnership until June 2024 to galvanize support for internally displaced persons in Nigeria. Currently, over 3.3 million people are internally displaced in Nigeria. DG reads riot act to prospective Corps Members

Tinubu declares State of Emergency on Food Security

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has started a fight against hunger and poverty as he declared a state of emergency on food security in Nigeria. Subsidy: Reps seek increase in salaries, allowances

Members of the House of Representatives are demanding an upward review of their salaries and allowances, following the removal of fuel subsidy and the current economic situation in the country.
