The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reopened fraud cases against Rabiu Kwankwaso, Ayodele Fayose and 11 other former governors running into over N772bn. The anti-graft agency’s probe is also extended to some former ministers and presently investigating the N81.6bn allegedly looted in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. NBTE scraps HND Computer Science from Polytechnics

The Nation Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has announced the unbundling of Higher National Diploma Computer Science programmes in Polytechnics. This is just as schools are now to offer Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Cloud Computing, Software and Web Development and Cybersecurity and Data Protection at the HND level to replace the faced-out Computer Science program.
