Dabiri-Erewa presents Yoruba Aso Oke to Prince Harry and Meghan

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle appeared to be having a good time in Nigeria since they arrived on Friday morning for their 72-hour tour.

 

NewsBand reported that Harry and Meghan are in Nigeria to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

 

 

The Invictus Games, which he founded is designed to aid the rehabilitation of wounded and sick service members and veterans, among them Nigerian soldiers fighting a 14-year war against Islamic extremists.

 

 

Though, immediately after their arrival on Friday, Prince Harry and the wife attended the inauguration of a mental health initiative at a school in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

 

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa presented a complete Yoruba Aso Oke ensemble to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at a reception hosted for them by the Chief of Defence staff.

 

 

Recall that Meghan had 2 years ago declared that she has a 43 percent Nigerian DNA.
