DPR Minna Field office mourns late Islamic Scholar,Sheik Ahmed Lemu

The Controller, Department of Petroleum Resources DPR Minna Field Office, Engr. AJ Isah has expressed shock and sadness over the death of Dr. Sheik Ahmed Lemu, OFR, National President Islamic Education Trust.
Engr. A J Isah described the late Sheik Ahmed Lemu as a bridge-builder who reached across ethnic and religious divides to promote the religion of Islam.
The Controller stressed that the contributions of the deceased as a renowned Islamic Scholar of high repute have earned him respect all over the world. He added that the deceased would be remembered for his peace building effort and Islamic dawaah.
According to the Controller, “the commitment of late Sheik Ahmed Lemu in the propagation of Islam in the country and beyond earned him the award of King Faisal International Prize in Service to Islam for the year 2014 by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.
The Controller then said “On behalf of DPR family, I want to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of late Sheik Ahmed Lemu, National President of the Islamic Education Trust and former Grand Khadi.”
The Controller then prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased adding that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive him and grant him Aljanat Firdausi.
He prayed Allah to grant his family, the people of Niger state and Muslims all over the world fortitude and strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
