Niger State Commissioner of Police,CP Monday Bala Kuryas has re-affirmed his command readiness to provide adequate security during the Easter festivities and beyond in the state.
In view of this, the Command in its effort at ensuring a crime-free Easter celebration in Niger State ,has emplaced proactive security measures designed to provide a robust and visibility security avalanche for Nigerlites and residents of the state which is laid on sufficient deployment of Police personnel to worship centres, recreation centers and other public places during festivities as well as intelligence led-policing apparatus across the state
Meanwhile,CP Monday Bala Kuryas has directed Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and DPOs to dominate all public places and critical government infrastructures through constant supervision of officers and men deployed for the season to ensure conformity with standard operating procedures and respect for human rights while carrying out their lawful duties.
While felicitating with Nigerlites and christian faithful in the state on the commemoration of the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Commissioner of Police urged the followers to abide by its symbolism which connotes sacrifice, tolerance, perseverance, love and triumph.
The CP Kuryas equally appreciated Nigerlites for their support, and enjoined them to continue to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies by providing information to ensure quick intervention towards developing a more secured and safer environment.
