Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has assured citizens of a better year ahead, emphasized his administration’s commitment to delivering practical and impactful governance in 2025.
The Governor made this promise during the 2024 Nine Lessons and Carols event organized by the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA) in Benin City. The event, hosted by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, brought together the 24 Honourable Members and staff of the Assembly to celebrate the festive season.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Okpebholo expressed gratitude for the blessings bestowed on Edo State in 2024 and prayed for continued unity, love, and progress as the state looks forward to the new year.
“God has been good to us in Edo State. As the year draws to a close, we shall not end with it but instead see its conclusion and step into 2025 together, praying for even greater blessings,” the Governor stated.
The event was marked by captivating performances from the EDHA Choir and the El-Excess Choral Choir, whose melodious renditions thrilled the audience. Santa Claus added to the festive cheer by entertaining the crowd, making the occasion memorable for all attendees.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to fostering growth and development, encouraging the people of Edo State to remain united and optimistic about the future.
The event concluded with prayers and goodwill messages, symbolizing a collective hope for a prosperous 2025.
