The Director General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has bagged the 2022 Nigeria Union of Journalist Award in Lokoja, Kogi state.
Dr Kashim Akor was honored on Thursday in Lokoja the state capital for his ‘Community Development Project’ in Kogi state and across the country.
He emerged as one of the nine awardees and recipient of this year’s NUJ award which included Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Akor had contributed greatly to the development of education, provision of electricity transformers and solar street lights across communities and educational institutions including hospitals.
He introduced enterpreneurial development, skill acquisition and training, empowerment and capacity,as well as employment opportunities to the teeming Nigerians.
