The President of the Nigeria Senate, Sen. Ahmad Lawan and his counterpart in the House of representatives, Rt, Hon, Femi Gbajabiamila among other dignitaries have confirmed their presence at the 2019 Legislative conference slated for the 25th day of November. 2019 at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja.
In a press release made available to Emporium Reporters on Monday, the conference which organized by the management and staff of the Hallow Mace and the National Orientation Agency has the theme: ‘Strengthening the legislature for effective oversight function’.
The statement reads: The senate president, Senator Ahmad Lawan and the Speaker of House of representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila both have confirmed their attendance at the event as special guests of honour, while the deputy senate president, Sen. Ovie-Omo Agege will be the guest of honour.”
However, Prof. Muhammed T. Ladan, DG. Nigeria Institute of Advance Legal Studies will be the key note speaker; while Sen.Bala Ibn Na’Allah (Chairman Senate committee on Air force), Hon. Uzoma Nkem Abonta, Hon. Osai Nicholas Osai (Chairman House Committee on Protocols and Treaties are the guests speakers.
Meanwhile, the Editor in chief of Hallow Mace, Anderson Ochiebe has promised a well loaded event, stressed that management of Hallowmace is committed to enhancing the legislators with the provision of additional knowledge through the organization of legislative conference on a yearly basis.
