The National Hospital Radio Awards, organized by the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA), is a renowned annual event that celebrates exceptional contributions to hospital broadcasting in the UK.

Richybongo, the host of “African Vibe with Richybongo” on the Community & Hospital Broadcasting Network (CHBN Radio) in Cornwall, has been recognized for his work in promoting African culture and fostering inclusivity and diversity. His Sunday evening programme aims to bridge the gap between African heritage and the local Cornish community, building mutual understanding and appreciation.

Edoki, who previously worked as a broadcaster with Silverbird/Rhythm in Nigeria, moved to the UK three years ago. His nomination for the Best Newcomer Award is a testament to the positive impact Nigerian professionals are making on the global stage.
