The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman,organized capacity building conference for the female personnel of the Command with the theme “Reinvigorating and Rekindling the mindset of women police into the proper exhibition of Police duties” today 8th October, 2024 at Police Officers’ Mess, Minna,Niger state.
Participants were drawn from the Divisions and Area Commands within the metropolis for the first phase, while other phases captured other Divisions and Area Commands in the State.
The female personnel were lectured by the DPO, Morris Division, CSP Ebi Kosipre on general discipline and the standard mode of dressing expected of a female police officer.
Similarly, the Gender Desk Officer of the Command,who is also in charge of the Women and Children Protection Unit (WCPU) SP Olubunmi Duyilemi refreshed the participants on the duties of women police and parental care at the home front.
The interaction session among the participants was interesting as it showed the interest and willingness of the Women in the Command to get updated in learning and knowledge.
In a vote of Thanks,ASP Allwell Johnson on behalf of the participants appreciated the Inspector General of Police and the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command for the privilege of the training program to refresh them professionally and for better performance in Police duties.
