The Nigerian Navy Logistics College, Dawakin Tofa, held a combined graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 19, 2025, for 175 Under Training (UT) Ratings who successfully completed their respective courses.
The graduands comprised participants of the Petty Officer Qualifying Course (POQC) Batch 46, Leading Seaman Qualifying Course (LSQC) Batch 46, Basic Qualifying Course (BQC) Batch 54, and Basic Project Qualifying Course (BPQC) Batch 02.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Commandant of the College, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Chukwuma Anakwe, conferred certificates on the graduating students and commended them for their resilience, discipline, and commitment to professional advancement.
Rear Admiral Anakwe also expressed gratitude to the Special Guest of Honour, the Executive Governor of Kano State, who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Internal Security and Special Services, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Umar (rtd). He appreciated the state government’s continued support and commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration in Kano State.
In his closing remarks, the Commandant acknowledged the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, for his visionary leadership and unwavering investment in capacity building and infrastructure development at the College.
The event underscored the Nigerian Navy’s ongoing commitment to excellence in training and operational preparedness.
