The State of Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has felicitated his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the occasion of his 55th birthday.
Oyetola, in a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Thursday described Sanwo-Olu as a pragmatic and selfless leader who is committed to the service of his people and humanity in general.
The Governor also commended Sanwo-Olu’s exceptional achievements in executing people-oriented projects in Lagos, adding that the projects have delivered dividends of democracy to all.
“By these achievements, you have added your footprints on the sands of time.
“Since you assumed office, you have demonstrated what true and selfless leadership entails by the developmental projects and programmes you execute in Lagos. I hail your committment and dogged pursuit of a better Lagos.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of the State of Osun, I join your family, friends, colleagues and associates to congratulate you, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on the occasion of your 55th birthday anniversary.”
Oyetola further commended Sanwo-Olu’s proactiveness in ensuring Lagos flattens the curve of the Coronavirus. He appealed to Lagosians to continue to give the governor and the government the necessary support to enable them succeed in their responsibilities and rid Lagos of the dreadful Coronavirus.
The governor, therefore, prayed God to grant Sanwo-Olu long life, good health and wisdom to continue to lead Lagos State to greater heights.
