Rev Ocansey ,Fawunmi to grace JIFORM Summit in Ibadan

The African Union Labour Migration Advisory Committee member, Rev. Dr. A.K. Ocansey, who is also an multiple award winning and international investment consultant, Ghanaian-Canadian and Philippine trained Labour Migration expert has confirmed her participation at the international migration summit billed for Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria on October 15, 2020.
Dr.Ocansey participation was confirmed by the Secretary,Publicity Committee of JIFORM summit, Salemfly Salem, an international journalist with a french broadcasting station in a statement issued on Monday.
The submit which would combine both physical and virtual presentations is aimed at producing migration terminologies for over 10,000 media houses and journalists across the globe.
Ocansey, a versatile professional is also theologian, philanthropist, author and rural and diaspora development expert.
The author of Deadly Work or Decent Work?, said she felt “a heavy burden”, as a servant of God, to caution African Leaders to ensure that “never again”, should African citizens be subjected to slave-like work conditions anywhere.
She is an Engineering Graduate of Rutgers University, NJ-USA and a renowned Migration Expert with over 30 years’ experience, she is also a member of the African Union Labour Migration Advisory Committee – which advises African Governments, representing the Diaspora African Forum.
She has held consulting positions with the Ghana Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare.
Also featuring at the submit is another distinguished Nigerian breakthrough learning facilitator and World Bank trained developmental Knowledge facilitator, Ms Omotola Fawunmi based in the United of America.
Omotola, the Executive Director of Rescue Africans In Slavery (RAIS) has been coordinating several rescue efforts that had rescued hundreds of African stranded in diaspora over the years.
She is s a certified John Maxwell Certified Leadership Trainer, One Young World and
HACEY Girl Child ambassador.
The member of the the Nigeria Economic Summit Group, Policy Commission is an experienced migration researcher.
