The President of the Research Institute Games of Nigeria (RIGAN), Prof. Owolade Oluwaferanmi, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic road crash that claimed the lives of 20 athletes and officials from Kano State. The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Ogundele J. Ayodeji has visited the District head of Lambata, Gurara LGA, and the family of the deceased Village head of Lambata Alh. Mohammed Abdulsafur who was attacked by irate youths in his residence on 14th January,2023 and later confirmed dead at FMC Gawu-Babangida.
