NCC Chairman, Prof Akande facilitates Digital Nigeria Centre for GCI

The Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has facilitated a Digital Nigeria Centre (DNC) for Government College, Ibadan. The DNC is a federal government programme to improve learning and research by promoting the connection of government schools across Nigeria to broadband. The programme included the provision of desktops,teacher laptops, refurbishment of ICT lab including electrical, mechanical and civil works,furniture for the ICT lab, providing of learning software, internet access,solar energy and one year technical and maintenance support to beneficiary schools.
