Scores of civilians were reportedly feared dead in the wee hours of Wednesday after a building in the Onipanu area of Lagos State collapsed. The collapsed building is said to be located at Oke Arin street, off Shyllon Ilupeju. The incident occurred at about 1.07 am on Wednesday. Nigerian soldiers involved in the killing and maiming of peaceful protesters at Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos have now confirmed that they were actually drafted in for the operation on the request of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu contrary to his denials. A yet-to-be-identified helicopter has crashed in the Opebi area of Lagos State. It was gathered that the copter dropped from the sky around 12 noon at the Salvation Bus Stop in Opebi. As part of the strategy to ease lockdown imposed to flatten coronavirus in Lagos state, the Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved Friday and Sunday worship services for Muslims and Christian faithful in the state.
