A member of Oyo state House of Assembly Hon. Ademola Olusegun Popoola is dead   He was aged 46   The lawmaker who represented Ibadan Southeast constituency II at Oyo state House of Assembly died on Tuesday evening at University College Hospital ( UCH ) after suffering from Kidney related disease   Popoola was the Chairman of, the Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters.   A family source who confirmed the incident said he was billed to be flown abroad for surgery before eventually gave up the ghost.    …

Oyo Assembly okays Makinde’s request to access FG’s UBEC/SUBEB intervention grant

The Oyo State House of Assembly on Monday approved the request of Governor Seyi Makinde to access the 2020 Federal Government UBEC/SUBEB intervention fund. The Governor said the fund was required to enable his administration embark on aggressive construction of classrooms and provision of School furniture with standard facilities to enhance and improve teaching and learning activities in both Primary and Secondary Schools in the State.
