The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved a fresh 13-member Caretaker Committee for Ebonyi State, appointing Barr. Ekuma E. The Osun Youth Initiative for Good Governance (OYIGG) has alleged that Governor Ademola Adeleke deliberately skipped the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national convention in Ibadan on November 15‑16, citing a court‑ordered suspension of the event.   According to a release signed by its Convener Dr. Adeyemi Akande, OYIGG Governor Adeleke, who is seeking re‑election, left Nigeria on Friday afternoon for an undisclosed destination abroad to avoid being “party to an illegal convention”.
