TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT : Mikano donates 20 Traffic Shelters to Niger Govt

A leading power generating company in Nigeria, Mikano International Limited,has donated Twenty units of Traffic Shelters Niger State Government to shelter Traffic Officers while on duty.

 

The gesture which was part of the social corporate responsibilities of Mikano International limited is aimed at supporting the Government’s effort in ensuring the safety and comfort of Traffic Officers in the State.

Speaking shortly after receiving the donation at the Office of Secretary to the Government of Niger State, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane commended Mikano International Limited for extending the hand of support and partnership to the State Government.

 

Ahmed Matane while appreciating the effort of Mikano International Limited then called on other corporate organizations and individuals to emulate this humanitarian gesture.

 

The SSG assured Mikano that the State Government would distribute the Traffic Stands judiciously to serve the purposes it was specifically meant for.

 

He then stressed that the Traffic Boots would in no small measure support the conveniences and safety of Traffic Officers by serving as a shelter for them in the course of discharging their responsibilities.

 

Earlier in his remarks, the representative of Mikano International Limited and Adviser to the Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Salako disclosed that the company was donating Twenty Traffic Shelters to the State Government to boost the traffic management.

 

Mr. Salako further revealed that the gesture was part of the company’s Social Corporate Responsibility (SCR) efforts to support Government efforts at improving the lives of the people in the State.
