The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has commended the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for the allocation of 23% to education in the 2017 Budget of the state. The umbrella media body, the Nigeria Press Organisation (NPO), has proscribed Beat associations by journalists. NPO is made up of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN), the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE).
