The former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has appeal to the people of Kogi state, Nigeria in general to take their destinies in their own hands by voting massively for PDP in the next month general elections.
Idris dropped this message in Lokoja on Saturday during the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar campaign visit to the state held at the confluence stadium.
He said the people of Kogi state had suffered alot in the last eight years, stating the only way to stop the ugly trend is to vote wisely for PDP from top to bottom in the forthcoming general elections.
He described the former Nigeria’s vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as a unifier who is prepared to take the country from the last eight years problems confronting both Kogi state and Nigeria in its entirety, urging the electorates to come out and cast their votes for PDP.
Jakadan Sokoto urged the people of Kogi state to declare a political tsunami in Kogi and Nigeria by returning all PDP candidates from the president to the national assembly, governors and the state assemblies.
He reminded the people of Kogi state and Nigerians that the five elections outcomes must be dominated by the PDP using their PVCs wisely in all the elections.
“You have suffered too long for about eight years now, are you ready to continue to suffer,? You know what to do now, you all have your PVCs, on the day of elections, come out and cast your votes for PDP.” The former governor opined.
He maintained that by the grace of Almighty God, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will be the next president of Nigeria come may 2023.
