The House of Representatives has resumed its weekly plenary sittings following the annual recess that began in late July 2024.   Upon reconvening on Tuesday, Speaker Abbas Tajudeen,who presided over the plenary, read a correspondence from President Bola Tinubu regarding a Supplementary Appropriation Bill for the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). Military Operatives arrest over 150 students at ‘yahoo school’ inside Delta’s Army Estate

No fewer than 150 students accused of internet fraud, also known as ‘yahoo yahoo’ in local parlance, have been arrested at the Army Estate in Effurun, Delta state.   The suspects were said to have been arrested by operatives of the 3 Battalion of the Nigerian Army and handed over to the police.   The arrest was said to have been made on Saturday, at Hustle Kingdom school, a cyber-criminal training network, following intelligence reports.   The operatives were said to have arrested 90 of the suspects on Saturday morning,…
