Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has commended the Emir of Zazzau Suleja, Malam Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim for his immense contributions and support towards ensuring good governance in the three tiers of government in the last 25 years of his reign .
The Governor in a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, described the 25 years of the enthronment of the Emir of Suleja as remarkable. He also applauded the royal father for ensuring that law and order prevail in the emirate.
He stated that the royal father has since been an instrument of peaceful coexistence and development in the emirate, the state as well as the country.
Governor Sani-Bello further noted that the emir was able to bring his experience to bear as a former governor of the state in ruling the people of his emirate that comprise Suleja, Tafa and Gurara Local Government Areas in the state.
“As we mark the silver jubilee of His Highness on the throne of his forebears, I wish to attest to the stabilising role, the Emir Zazzau Suleja, Malam Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim has been playing. He has been a dependable and reliable bridge between the people, culture, religion and government.
“An administrator per excellence, the Emir’s managerial acumen has continued to manifest in the steady progress, development and expansion being witnessed in the Emirate in the last 25 years.
“It is on record that Suleja, the seat of the Emirate is a melting pot for all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, race or religion and this feat is expressly attributable to the humane and cosmopolitan mien of His Royal Highness, Malam Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim”.the Governor said
The Governor prayed for wisdom, long life and good health for the Emir to enable him continue with his service to humanity and has also called other traditional rulers to continue to ensure peaceful coexistence in their various emirates and has assured them of government support.
