Tunde MacAlabi, CEO of T-BYK, in collaboration with the Center for Black Arts and African Civilization, has unveiled plans for the African Global Festival Nigeria (AGLOFEST), set to take place in the last quarter of 2025. This groundbreaking festival will bring together cultural enthusiasts, artists, and thought leaders from across the globe to celebrate the vibrancy of Africa’s heritage and creativity.
AGLOFEST promised to be an unforgettable event, featuring a diverse range of activities such as music, dance, fashion, business networking, and cultural exhibitions. The inaugural edition is expected to have a significant economic impact, projected to generate over $20 billion for Nigeria’s economy within the next five years.
Tunde MacAlabi, Founder and Convener of AGLOFEST, explained that the festival is not just a celebration of African culture but a platform for Africans and the Black diaspora to reconnect with their roots and collaborate for future growth.
“AGLOFEST is a celebration of African unity, creativity, and cultural diversity. Our goal is to create a space where Africans, both at home and abroad, can come together to share their stories, build partnerships, and advance the continent’s creative economy,” MacAlabi said.
Festival Highlights:

The festival will take place across three Nigerian cities: Abuja, Lagos, and Uyo, attracting thousands of attendees, including artists, entrepreneurs, cultural ambassadors, and government officials. It is set to become one of the most significant cultural events on the African continent.
AGLOFEST has gained support from the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Creative Economy and Tourism, the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Air Peace Airline, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu serving as the Grand Patron and Chief Global Ambassador of the festival.
With its grand vision, AGLOFEST 2025 is poised to set a new standard for cultural celebrations in Africa and beyond.
