Aliyu Oroji, popularly known as Ciroman Wamakko, has emerged as a key driver of socio-economic development in Sokoto State, spearheading impactful initiatives in education, security, and housing. His efforts have received strong backing from the state government under the leadership of Governor Dr. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.
Oroji has made significant contributions to education by establishing primary and secondary schools that enhance access to quality learning. His most recent project, the Khalifa Advanced College of Studies, extends his commitment to higher education. His pioneering computer school is also helping bridge the digital divide in the state. These initiatives align with Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto’s broader vision of improving education across Sokoto.
Through the launch of Jedo Security and Allied Services, Oroji has tackled both security challenges and unemployment. The initiative has strengthened local security operations while creating job opportunities for young people in the state.
As the President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Oroji has been instrumental in the development of 10,000 housing units for healthcare workers across the country. His Rural Urban Housing Initiative is furthering efforts to balance regional development and provide affordable housing solutions.
Oroji’s outstanding contributions have earned him honorary fellowships from the National Institute of Builders and the Institute of Administration, as well as a fellowship from the Project Management Society of Project Managers. His leadership continues to drive forward strategic development projects in Sokoto and beyond.
