BREAKING: FG declares bandits as terrorist Group

President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that the criminal elements operating under the cover of terror bandits have been declared as terrorists and they would be treated as such.

He said he has given the security agencies a marching order to go after the criminal organization

Buhari speaking during an interview with Channels TV, maintained that his Government had made progress in addressing insecurity especially in the Northeast part of the country where the dreaded Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists are in full swing.

Buhari however reaffirmed that when his administration took over in 2015, many local governments were under the control of Boko Haram terrorists, but as of now, he noted that no local government is under the stronghold of terrorists.
