There could be an end to the current political face-off in Ondo State as President Bola Tinubu has directed the State House of Assembly to transfer power to governor Akeredolu’s deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Tinubu reportedly gave the marching order during a meeting called by him on Monday to resolve the political impasse in the State.
Speaking during the meeting, Tinubu stressed that the transfer should be done without any conditions, as it aligns with the “Doctrine of Necessity.”
NewsBand Newspaper reports that the transfer of power will be done by electronic signature (e-signature) as the sick governor is said to be too weak to sign any document.
